Proper identification is required at the time of boarding for all discount fares. Please show your photo identification to the bus operator when requested.

Seniors

The discount fare rate for seniors is available to all persons 62 years of age and older. Boarding with the discount fare requires one of the following photo ID cards: DMV Identification Card/Drivers License, Passport, US Permanent Resident Card, or Senior TAP Card.

Disabled

The discount fare rate is available for persons of any age with a disability. Boarding with the discount fare requires one of the following photo ID cards having a disabled designation: DMV Identification Card/Drivers License or LACTOA TAP Card.

Medicare

The discount fare rate is available to any Medicare cardholder.

Students

Beeline student passes are available on TAP and can only be loaded on a student TAP card. Students can register for a student TAP card and reload online at taptogo.net. Students may be asked to present their student ID upon boarding.

Access

The discount fare is available for active Access cardholders. Passengers boarding with the Access Photo ID card maybe asked to present one of the following photo ID cards: DMV Identification Card, California Drivers License, or LACTOA Card. PCAs do not ride free and must pay their own fare.

Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) Program

Low-income transit riders can sign up for the LIFE program to receive transit pass discounts on Glendale Beeline, LA Metro, and other participating transit agencies. For more information, please visit taptogo.net/LIFE.
