1759 Gardena Avenue - Beeline Maintenance Facility
Project Overview
The project allows the City of Glendale to have its first-ever co-located Beeline and Dial-A-Ride facility which will help improve operations by locating Administration, Operations and Maintenance on one campus. The Facility provides secured vehicle parking for the transit fleet of 37 buses, 9 demand response vehicles, non-revenue vehicles, and staff, with room to grow.
Timeline (this timeline will be updated as more information becomes available)
- March 6, 2018 - Groundbreaking
- April 1, 2018 - Site preparation and lot securement
- April 1- December 2018 - Grading and underground utility installation
- January 2019 - June 2020 - Construction of building begins
- Summer 2020 - Estimated Grand Opening
